Get Reaper ready for VR

Soon we'll be using the vr-goggles a lot (from Sony, Oculus etc.).

Any ideaz for 3d interface?

why would you do that? reality is 3D, in fact its 4D. so what do you expect from a 3D Reaper UI? crawling behind the desk to look after the cables????

so, you want to use a lifestyle-gadget, although there it is nothing you can use it on so someone else has to invent something that you can use your toys????

I bet there will be vr-music-making-toys very soon. It is going to be a blast. I am wondering if a professional DAW could benefit from such interface and I kinda feel it could. But chill really, its only half serious topic

The workspace would be just huge and easily navigable. The item manipulation would be natural, not brain-surgery-tense like it has been for decades.

Anyway. A DAW is nothing more than an INTERFACE. Really, there is not much more to it.
Reaper is just one way to click things. One way to get things done. Grab the tail - its soooo fresh. Completely novel. Be the champ. Be the leader. Just do it. Hire 3 enthusiasts. See what happens.

REAPER already allows us to play, record and mix with *virtual* instruments and effects, and imho that's all a musician needs in reality.
