Default Defy The Storm - epic orchestral

I'd like to share my second piece this month, for orchestra. Tried to achieve an epic, cinematic character.

What do you think? Comments and suggestions most welcomed.

Hope you like!

Very cool. Funny, I've been getting back into RPGs (like D&D, etc.), and this is like the stuff I'd have playing in the background. It fits an epic fantasy world of dragons, barbarian kings, etc.

Thanks for the good comments, Fabian and Dimaension X. Much appreciated, and pleased you enjoyed it.

@Dimaension X - indeed! It's kind of what I kept in my head for inspiration - a sword and sorcery confrontation...

Not sure if I hear (in the tymp.) the "sample re-triggering" that comes with rapid notes. Fortunately, it's very subtle. Overall, I particularly like how you weave together the contrasting notes (slow, med, rapid) across instruments. Really drives the motion forward. HNY.
