well, I don't know what I did but I apparently qualified for the $69.00 group buy, not sure I understand how that worked .

Anyhow, from what I hear Jamstix is decent and apparently can be complimentary to BFD which I own already.

This must surely mean that Jamstix 2 is coming fairly soon. I've not used Jamstix for friggin' ages, but Jamstix 2 is looking pretty cool. Should be swell with Addictive Drums.

I once checked them out but upon some questions of mine the developer stated that Jamstix 1 was not all that suitable to latin fusion including use of odd meters , interjecting changes in meter etc. The plan was that Jamstix 2 was going to try to tackle some of that.

However, I can see ways of utilizing it anyhow , again with perhaps interop with BFD, generating parts etc.

I guess the group buy offer and the impulsive shopper in me where to much too resist
