Default New project in someone elses studio

I am starting a recording project in a "proper" studio in July & will be taking just stems from them.
Which got me thinking that I might just ask for volunteers to have a go at mixing/remixing the tracks before we get down to finishing everything off & publishing.

Anyone interested? The style is roots Americana/old style soul and a bit of a country flavour here and there.

Hi

Quite happy to give it a go … here's my recording + mix/master of my daughters Big Band some years ago. 8 track recorder front ended by two 26 channel mixers to "pre mix" various elements. e.g. 5 mics across the sax section and then mixed across 2 of the 8 tracks!

Age range of band 18 (vocalist) to 84 !!

Instrumentals

Drums were captured by surrounding mics on other sections of the band! Kick fed into bass track!!

Mixed etc with Reaper of (course)!

PM me with details if you would trust me "to have a go".

Moonlight was mixed according to the original Miller tracks. The clarinet is deliberately quite low in the mix, in case you are wondering.
