WOW!!! That's kind of surprising, I only thought the large majority of Vegas users would have enjoyed it. The default Reaper color scheme's auto crossfade was blending in too much for me, where I couldn't even see it, so I started there and then 3 hours later got a little carried away. I'm glad you like it. I think I might make a Sonar theme next. Any requests?

I like that kind of colors because they don't hurt your eyes after a long period of work. I sometimes work 8 to 10 hours in front of monitor and if colors are too dark or to bright with high contrast, they influence my mood. I like Tracktion colors. I hated them at start, they looked to wash out, but after a long period of time and long day (and night) sessions, they turned out to be quite pleasing.

vegas theme.. and then ?
Yes, a Vegas theme... why not ?
But the look isn't everything... If Reaper could READ video files.... WOW !!!
Is any improvements are planned that way ?
(.... and.... i know.... i'm telling ALWAYS the same : T.I.M.E.S.T.R.E.T.C.H !!!!!!! This is a must have !!! I never see any version or new features or announcments in that way... is such an ida dead ??)
I would like a feature in REAPER that will allow to drag-and-drop a .ReaperTheme file to the REAPER window and apply it immediately,so there's no need to go to the options menu at all.
Yours is good, but you didn't cheat like I did to make the colors exact. I opened Adobe Photoshop and used the eye dropper with screen captures from Vegas. Then Photoshop gave me the exact RGB values, which I then entered into the Reaper Theme editor.
Rather than have themes all over the message boards and eventually lost, how about we have a (sticky?) thread where we can all post our fantastic (or otherwise) Reaper themes.

This time here's a dark theme featuring some deadly radioactive stuff - "Toxic" :
Now here's something completely different: Fun Fun Colors - a nice happy theme, maybe too colorful for most of you
Another interesting theme, based on obscure stuff - DCSequencer
And,finally, for those who love the Lemon-Lime theme here's - Tutti Frutti - a delicious, juicy theme full of fresh fruit, not just sour lemons
Good for mixing some fruity loops
Enjoy!
Justin, can you add an option to change the color of the MOVING playback CURSOR,not the position cursor. When creating different themes, especially darker themes like "Toxic",it's very hard to see the gray moving cursor.
Also, can you add outlines to the media items and MIDI notes? Look at this picture I found on the net and see how having outlines on MIDI notes in the piano roll looks great.
The same can be done to the audio (WAV/sample) items to look much better.
A user-changeable color for this outline will make it perfect fit for the various themes.
I would like an option for the tracks to be separated by a thin line between them, instead of two alternating colors for even and odd tracks. With this,I can set the same color for even and odd tracks, but have lines separating them.
Also,I can only re-create certain themes with this feature.
After a long pause,I decided it was time to update my previous themes and give you some more,so here's a new batch of Synth's themes for your enjoyment:
And finally for the dark theme users, here's a very dark, grim theme a lot more shocking than the previous "Toxic" or the feministic "Taboo Theme": Dare you try the "Bloodlust Theme" http://www.stashbox.org/uploads/1147...al.ReaperTheme
So,how do you like my themes now? (especially those of you using Heavenly and V3_LoContrast)?
The MacOS theme from StyleXP is a perfect match for the first three themes, except for the dark one, which looks good only with a dark Windows theme.
Have fun.
[EDIT] First theme was reuploaded,if you downloaded it before, redownload again.
[EDIT 2] Reuploaded the Synoptic Theme and Bloodlust Theme. Please re-download again.
I just updated the "Synoptic Theme" and the "Bloodlust Theme".The links are updated,so please re-download again. The grid lines and position cursor are significantly improved.
The Synoptic Theme now became my new favorite, replacing the Heavenly Theme and Low Fatigue Theme. Hope you love it too.
Here is a screenshot from the Synoptic Theme on my desktop: http://www.stashbox.org/uploads/1147...ynths_PC_3.png
Quite the opposite,REAPER is a light reaper (a farmer),not a dark grim reaper
I don't need StyleXP,this Windows theme I made does the job for me.The colors look like a cross between Win2000,WinXP,Vista and MacOSX
Light,lean and not ugly.
...and I even got more space now
The more I work with Reaper colour schemes, the more plain I want the scheme to be. I don't find alternating track item colours to be very useful - I'm much more interested in an at-a-glance picture of which items are selected and which are not, and I want to see precisely where the loop selector is at all times, and I want to see as few colours competing for my attention as possible, unless they are different for a reason.
So, I give you the Plain theme - deeply boring but highly practical (IMHO).
Use Alt+PrintScrn to capture, paste into MS Paint or PhotoFiltre, save as a .PNG image (max. compression) and that's it.
Best of all,PNG is lossless and the filesize is smaller than JPG for this type of images
For viewing,XnView is the king.

One more in the dark and solid Reaper by Night Series: Altec Green. Thanks to Justin for giving color control of the middle and the pain on the right which is getting closer to being just the pane on the right.
I hope justin gets time to allow user changes to the VU meter colours. I find them a bit too N-Track as they are.
Part from that - nice work lads with those themes so far...
