Default how to use LSP drum sampler w/ Reaper?

can LSP drum sampler used w/ reaper as shown in this video?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GsNfZ0TF-bk

I've never used a VST sampler before and I would like to ask what to do that LSP (e.g. a kick sample ) follows to a guitar track ...
It 's probably a routing problem, but I do not get it work as shown in the video above.

If you're using a multi-out version (not just 2 "stereo" out), you probably didn't set up the output.

See this video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gsZ_l-FZQTU

Within the first couple minutes, that part is explained.

thanks James,
I do not get it to work, I tried w/ both versions multichannel, stereo & mono plugin
it does not read any notes neither from midi files nor from audio files ...
any idea?

Are you sending MIDI to it on the correct channel?

Did you load audio files into the plugin, and then specifically trigger those notes that they were loaded to? How about auditioning the samples in the plugin itself as shown in the video?

I have set a midi track with instrument on channel 1
- added a bus track > receive from channel 1
- added sent from ch1 to bus1

so I do not really know what to do to make it work ;-)

I don't understand what you're doing.

Try using midi on the track that the plug-in is on.

Also you will need to load samples into the plug-in. You didn't answer my question in the last post. You do understand that this needs to load samples, right? Such as in the video.

yes, samples are loaded and I get the sounds when manually clicked a button but I do not get a setup which follows the chords of the git track

Maybe the send notes are wrong? Depending on the starting octave midi note 48 of LSP doesn't have to agree with note 48 in Reaper.

Or post some screenshots of you mixer window.

Hi,

What I do is this:

* Add a new track
* Add LSP Multi Sampler X24 (example)
* Click on Load and add a kick sample (The Looploft, have a bunch of them)
* Add a new track in TCP and route it to 3/4 from the track I have LSP on
* Continue adding samples in LSP and change the routing as a go long

Snare route to 5/6
HiHat to 7/8
Toms to 9/10

and so...

It works and I use track 1 where I have LSP and insert a midi track and go into editor and start creating a drum track.

the samples are working so that's not the problem here, my question is how to setup LSP w/ Reaper that LSP follows to a guitar track (notes) like shown in the video:

Maybe I misunderstood you, but that's not possible. LSP is just a sampler, nothing more. Of course you have to program a midi drum track. What you see in the video is just the recording of the pre-programmed midi drum track to audio tracks.

You program MIDI. Make drum tracks that are MIDI. That's how drum Samplers work.
