Would be great to have a "Lock" icon visible on items. This way it would be possible to see if a certain item is locked or not. It would also simplify locking of items without accessing any other menu. Just click on a "lock/key" symbol and said item is locked, or unlocked without affecting any global settings.
The same goes for the coloring of items. Place a "brush" icon on an item and by clicking it would allow direct access to the color palettes for this specific item.
I guess I was more used to the way it was displayed in Samplitude, where it was placed in the lower-middle part of the objects (items),it was red and visibly pressed-in (3d)when locked, and it was grayed out and visibly open when unlocked. My eye sight is not great and I can barely see all these tiny icons crammed in the left upper corner...
