Default Studiolive series3

Hi guys. I’m thinking of buying a presonus studiolive series 3 desk and wonder if anyone has any recent experience. Nearly all posts on this subject are somewhat historic. I’m pretty sure in DAW mode it can use Mackie Control but just wondering if you can use any of the desks features such as effects etc without routing all channels in and then back out again back into reaper on different channels. Sorry I’m a bit of a newbie
Thanks for any help

Yes, I'm fairly certain StudioLive 3-series is compatible with Reaper. I used to use a StudioLive 16.0.2 with Reaper, and it worked pretty much flawlessly.

Are you using your StudioLive as a control surface? I haven't been able to get the 32S to work as a control surface in Reaper using the Mackie Control Univeral and Mackie Control Extender as suggested by Presonus. I am on Win 10.

No, I never tried that - so I don't know much about it unfortunately.
