Default ScaleAble Idea

I've tried something a little different.
Took the default 6 theme rtconfig, combined it with some of WhiteTies's modded images, as well as some I've modded.
Using only the %200 images I modded the rtconfig ever so slightly.
Then using the advanced UI scaling options I've changed the scale to 100, 135 and 175 percent.
My resolution is 1920x1080, and I like the Windows 100% option.
I like many of the newer themes based on the version 6 default, but like many my eyes do not as only the 100% images are included.
My thinking is that by using a single set of images and most of the theme logic and Reaper's scaling one might come up with a UI that scales for many users while keeping the workload to a minimum.
Here are the images.

Let's have a the forum discussion about this concept...who knows.
Throw pros and cons...nothing to lose.

Cheers!

Well, I see that there's a TREMENDOUS amount of interest in this subject. None the less I continue to experiment.

Using one set of images provides an interesting side effect.

Using the different Layout sizes changes the TCP, MCP images etc but doesn't effect toolbars images or timeline font size,
while using the Advanced/UI system tweaks the toolbars images and timeline font increase along with everything else.

Quite useful...

Interesting.

I would love just the standard theme but at higher res and zoomed by 200 percent.

P.S. I did not know you could scale the UI ,TY for the handy tip.

Using the Ilogic 3.90 theme, looks amazing now,I can read it better without having to use the magnifying glass.

How long has this been in reaper ?

Working on a flat version, based on the ScaleAble idea.
Progressing somewhat.

Default Progress

Progress continues

Entirely based on the default 6 theme, which has an extremely flexible
rtconfig file. Most of these images are taken while using the largest scale
but the scaled down images are also quite usable and quite clear.

I'm using an 1920x1080 res on a 27" monitor, and sometimes I need a little
more than the 100% to see it properly, a little less than the 150%/200% so I see everything.

I've changed the scale amounts somewhat and other adjustments
but basically its the default all the way including the theme adjuster.

I don't use labels for pan, mute etc... so this theme version is not
the best for new users. And oh yeah its pretty flat.

Very impressed with the default 6 theme.

All credit to White Tie and the development team.

Cheers!

Default Available in the stash

https://stash.reaper.fm/theme/2784/A...ReaperThemeZip

So I've completed the Alpha of this theme...or so I think?

This theme has been modified and tested for Windows 10 1920x1080 resolution.
I'm providing this theme without guarantees of support.

I will do my best to repair any bugs discovered however.

As I stated earlier it is basically my image update of the standard V6 theme.

It has only 1 set of images(200%) that are scaled a little differently then the default.

The TCP and TCP Master default size is 150%, and the two others are 175% and 200%.

The MCP default size is 110%, the two others are 125% and 135%.

Two MCP Master scales 150% and 175%.

Envelope scales are 125%, 150% and 175%

Transport offers 125%, 150% and 175%

All the scales sizes are currently still named 100%, 150% and 200%.

It will use the V6 theme adjuster.

This will be my personal default theme for the time being.

Use it if you're interested, comment if you want to.

Go Reaper!

Default Minor changes posted

I've modified the Mute and Solo indicators when they are not ON. They are now much smaller.
Fixed to an extent the master TCP mixer sizing when its on the left side.

I have to mention again how flexible the Default 6 theme code is!

1440_900 monitor and theme is quite good for my work sometimes. I like the meters, less distraction.
thanks!

The tracks seem to be stuck together, the edges may be more pronounced.

It doesn't look good if the meters aren't colored.

The record and monitor buttons on the mcp are very close to each other.

Also, why can't fx's be on the right in tcp anymore?
