Default Centred Solo mode

Hi everyone,

First post I think, but definitely not the last!

I have recently (and finally!) switched over Reaper which I am really enjoying. - its great to have a bit of mixing software that appears to have no downfalls! Well at least compared to Tracktion and Cubase anyway..

Anyway, I may just be missing a key trick here, but I tried to create a custom macro that solo'd the selected track and made it ignore the pan filter for that track (so it centres during solo), but it didn't seem to work :-( . Has anyone else had any experience doing this, can you help?

If possible I was also looking to try and make it ignore all routing so it would pretty much be a Raw Solo... Any thoughts?

Cheers!

Dan

Xenakios/SWS pan selected tracks to centre, in SWS' extensions.
Steve
Or you could do it via MIDI if you're using a control surface
EDIT Doh, I'm dumb! How do you re-instigate the pan? You would need to save the original pan settings, but easier is to toggle mono on the master. Try that
