Default How do I view X-Touch One MIDI messages?

Hi,

I bought an X-Touch One and I'm trying to see what MIDI values are sent when a button is pressed. For example, when I press the mute button on the X-Touch One Mute, the MIDI message would be: 90 10 7f 90 10 00

There's a description of a utility being used on the CSI Wiki but I'm not sure how to set it up and get it working:

https://github.com/malcolmgroves/rea...age-Generators

Can anybody shed any light on how I can do this please?

Thank you for any help..

Are you using this in CSI? If so, there's already maps. It uses the same addresses an MCU.

If you want to use the CSI monitor, then look up "CSI" is in the actions list, find the action that says something like "CSI monitor input from surfaces" (probably not the exact wording but you'll see it). You'll need the devices MIDI ports to be disabled in Reaper and the device setup in CSI.

Many of us just use a standalone MIDI monitor. MIDI-OX is free. Just open the ports and start pressing buttons. When not using CSI, I prefer BOME MIDI Translator over MIDI-OX, but that's a commercial product. Not sure what's available in the free version.
