Default TEXT access for "sharp" and "flat" symbols

I am trying to ad Chord names AS TEXT [i.e. I am typing, not using any special chord track] on a one-line lead sheet in Reaper Music notation. There are "custom symbols" available in the "Add text" menu but I cannot find standard "sharp " and "flat" symbols. AVAILABLE AS TEXT ENTRY. Can someone tell me where they are?

Sharp : shift-3
Flat : lower case B

If you'd like it to look nicer, try this:

Philbo.... I think the font being used has to include those Alt+ characters

most fonts do not

That's why I rely on "b" and "#".
