For that price, I'll take it apart and extend the wire myself!

I have an Axon, and one of its greatest tricks to me, is that you can play some lead stuff, then switching with a controller to other midi channel to play a pad wich will continue to sound when you depress your controller to play lead again.
I don't see it happening with this one.... It can indeed send all your midi notes to a synth or wathever, but how can you send him instructions to change his behavior?

Thank you! The function I described is called "Hold" and will indeed be available in this new unit. The detail that kept me from understanding the thing, is that the pick up and the processing unit are all mounted in this little tiny thing!!
He said that pick up splits will not be available in this new unit, but I 've never been able to use it on the ax100, anyway...
Other detail of interest: The price announced is for the entry unit. The other options will be provided with additionnal gear that will be released later in the year..

More video material about the TriplePlay. Stuff about the attachment procedure and the software for example. And more Burr's amazing playing of course.

According to sources close to the company, Fishman Transducers, Inc. is preparing to make a public announcement regarding the anxiously awaited Triple Play Guitar Controller around “the end of the summer.” At that time they will “show the final production hardware and announce a ship date.”

What exactly does 'the end of summer' mean, to those of us in other parts of the world?

Looks amazing. I'll be getting one if it's anywhere near that pricepoint. To think, I was this close to getting a plastic yourock guitar a few months ago. I would have been kicking myself once this came out. So glad I listened to that little check in my mind.

you could try this:
double stick tape... it's normally at hardware stores and used for carpets... there are better and lesser varieties
I use it in my woodworking all the time and it's very strong...
the trick is when removing to lift just one corner and pull SLOWLY... it will gradually let go...
but is seems like this one might not need anything ... from the youtube it looks like it goes on and off nicely
I want it!

this thing will not be the key to the kingdom. i mean, when it finally comes out it may work as advertised, but it still won't be the key. it's potentially only a tool

Seeing the finished looking operation of the prototype in the NAMM video makes me wonder how they actually manage to still not release this. Luckily there's the MIDI Guitar VST on the way, so not all hope is lost for MIDI guitar.

Everyone Relax...
Having a chance to play with it I can say this will be my next purchase due to me being kind of a one man show thing.
This thing is fantastic, the latency is incredibly very low
ONE BIG THING YOU MUST DO TO YOUR GUITAR IS:
Make sure it has a very low action, that is the only bad side of this system.
So my money is being saved up for this purchase.

Are you referring to the actual Fishman or the VST posted?

Subbed - would love to know when these are available. I've been using a sonuus i2m, and while it works alright, the tracking isn't great, and it isn't polyphonic.
