I have no idea what you are trying to say here. There is succinct and then there is obscure.
Try again using more than 4 words?

There's a 3 in the name, a 3 in the post, and it's comprised of 3 words. I don't know, Ivan...I'm sensing a pattern, and so 4 or more may be pushing it. (~;

I don't know what "3d" means in this context, but the FR is clear to me from the thread name.
The "Project is dirty" sign (*) is shown next to the project name in Reaper's title bar, at least with Windows OS. If you go full screen, then you have neither the project name nor the info whether the project has an unsafed modification.
The workaround is to enable "Always show project tabs".

What is the "project is dirty" supposed to indicate? XXX lyrics included?
Must have been a very slow day when you were motivated to crack the manual for that one, gopher!

It means that project has been modified but not yet saved.

Ah... I tend to rely on the "unsaved project" header that I get on my reaper....
I will look out for the asterisk next time I forget to save a new project, but that IS usually the very first thing I do.
Paranoid? Me??
And thanks for the info.
EdIT: Just tried it. Opened reaper from last saved project, closed all projects, opened new project. Inserted MIDI item.
Banner at the top says "Unsaved project " as usual. No asterisk.
Where is this asterisk supposed to be?

I didn't crack open the manual for this one. Not even Reaper, but I should have opened Reaper, because actually it says "[modified]" in the title bar, not an asterisk. Sorry for the confusion.
I am talking about projects that have been saved at least once, but have since been edited without saving. The Application title bar says for example:
Gofer's Supersong [modified]

Thanks for clarifying that Gofer, because in 5 years with REAPER, I couldn't recall ever seeing an asterisk up there.
But, I'm still wondering what the "3d" reference is in the OP's post. I don't think it "says all"...at all. (~:

few words feed many words!!! :-)
I'm very sorry for this and thank you all for the "suggestion" to write when I have enough time to do it!
I moved to a big single monitor and I?ve started to work in full screen mode and I've noticed that the "modified" project info disappeard because it is displayed on the title bar. It could be useful to move it in the upper status bar when in full screen mode.
3d...ops...3FRS

Ahh, got it... thank you for explaining, lol!
And, I agree that would be very useful. I don't often work in full-screen mode, but get where you're coming from...now. (~:

The use of tabs reduces the size of the window.
I think that mirroring the title bar in the center of the upper grey line of the main window could be more useful.
