Default 64 bit

tell me everything you guys know about a 64 bit engine.. will this engine allow me to create a fuller, rounder and much clearer distortion? I can get a great clean tone but distortion is a bitch.. I don't feel like spending money or taking courses on how to get a good distortion so if you guys can give me some advice that would be awesome.. thanks

No, (guitar amp?) distortion quality depends on your plugins and/or outboard equipment. The 64 bit mixing engine in Reaper essentially just keeps things sounding very neutral. That is, the principle of "crap in, crap out" applies.
