Default Will we ever see thumbnails for track icons?

Yesterday I was working on a project and spent way too much time trying out track icons because there was no thumbnail preview to see before choosing one what it would look like.

In most cases I know the names of ones I use but this time I was selecting a track icon for an item I hadn't used before, so I had to try about five or six of them before finding one I liked in my project.

Anyway, if it's possible for Linux to do .png thumbnails like Windows, it would be a welcome addition to the Linux version of REAPER.

EDIT:

I just navigated to the track icon folder with the file browser in Xubuntu and it DOES show thumbnail icons for the files, so it looks like the OS can do it.

Through SWS extension: Ressource Window select image in drop down menu on top.

In drop down menu in bottom select double click show image.

Not perfect but maybe it will help you.

I've never installed the SWS extensions, but I might check 'em out if they can get me track icon thumbnails. Thanks!
