Default Better automation!

To me personally changing parameters with volume,knob or mouse feels very inaccurate and stressful to work with.

so get a controller. This is not a good feature request. Be more specific with the problem and suggest a solution.

Bind the parameter in question to a fader or encoder knob on your controller and use that to record automation. Much more natural to control.

I just remembered that the defaults mouse modifiers for envelopes aren't the best. I tend to work with mouse automation in a couple different ways.

1 - using selections. I make a time selection by rt-drag on the grid, then drag the envelope segment down to the desired level. If I want a slope I alt-click an point to delete it.

2 - selections and trim - same as 1st but using the trim knob on the tcp

3 - drawing. I cmd-left drag on an envelope to draw in points directly. I can do both broad and fine detail work with this depending on zoom level.

4 - non-realtime latch mode. I put the track in latch mode. drop the cursor where I want a change to start, then move the parameter to make a sharp change at that time position, holding that setting to the end of the project.

Even though I have hardware controllers for automation I use the mouse most. These 4 things are all I need for audio and video automation.

Thank you kindly for helping me.Much appreciated.
But I am Windows user,can you those shortcuts explain me on my"language".
I never had Mac and I probably never will so I have no idea what shortcuts I should be using.

Kind regards.

The shortcut is not the important part. Go to Mouse modifiers and make it the way that makes sense to you.

Usually Alt/Option = Alt; Command = ctrl; Control = Windows key;
