Default Loading Reaper - ERROR: js ReaScriptAPI extentsion

.
ERROR: js ReaScriptAPI extentsion

When loading Reaper the process stalls and this error message comes up. I just click to get rid of it however it's annoying.

How do I get rid of this gremlin?

Check in /REAPER/UserPlugins/ folder.

JS ReascriptAPI is Julian Sader's API extension. I don't know why it's giving you errors - but removing it may cause some scripts to stop working. You may prefer to try updating it to the latest version to see if that works better.

If you don't use any scripts that require it - then removing it will be ok.

Does the error message give any reason for the error? (The most common reason for an error during startup is an outdated REAPER version, in which case the error message should print something like "This extension requires REAPER v5.974 or higher".)
