Default "Remove Item from Group" does not work

--------
SOLVED
--------

Hi everybody,

i have grouped about 10 items in one track.
If i select one item and then 'remove from group' ('U' on keyboard) it is still glued to the other items.

Ok, i can move this single item from track to track without the others (vertically) but if i move it horizontal, to change the position its like i am dragging all 10 items.

And now something that really puzzles me:
If i do 'cut selected items' and then again 'paste' it is still glued to the others! Shouldnt pasting of items erase their history?

I'm sure its my fault somehow, still, i havent had this problem before V3.03.

Any ideas? Someone?

edit:

After "Help" -> "Documentation" -> "REAPER Documentation Online (Wiki)" which lead me to the pleasure of downloading the complete 13Mb/416pages Reaper Manual, and then search for "grouping".....i found that if i disable 'ripple editing' and 'item grouping' all works as expected xD

Works OK here, in v3.02 and 3.03 rc1.

Can you give a step-by-step or some screenshots or upload a small problem project so we can see the problem?
  • In XP, right-click the project file, select Send To ... compressed (Zipped) folder).
  • when you reply, scroll down a bit, open the "Additional Options" section if needed by clicking the double downwards arrows,
  • click on [Manage Attachments], browse to your ZIP file, select and Upload it.

As i wrote, the problem was caused by my *own* faulty operation:
I had 'ripple editing' enabled, which probably did overrule the 'group/ungroup' functions.

Thanks for asking tho!
