Default New Theme Alert! "ReAbleton"

Crafted from the finest bootleg pixels I present for your consideration:

ReAbleton v1.0

Combination Reaper Theme and WindowBlinds theme

Reaper Theme located here: https://stash.reaper.fm/theme/1930/Re...ReaperThemeZip

WindowBlinds theme: https://stash.reaper.fm/29802/Win8.zip

Caveat: this does make your Windows explorer look like Ableton, but what are you doing on your computer besides using Reaper anyways?

This started as a Funktion mod and it still has Funkntion's mcp since I don't use the mixer. If you do use the mixer, Flaneurette has a cool looking one here: http://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=186207

Thanks to: John Novak, Pinksoir, SmajjL, Lokasenna, Flaneurette, devs and lb0

HiDPI version coming when that functionality is added

There are a couple areas I want improve on currently. Does anyone know the answers to these questions:

1- is it possible to change the color of or remove the media item "tempo" info?
2- is it possible to change the snap offset control color?

Here's a link to an image with the location of my questions (disregard 3&4):

Also I can't find out how to change the color of the envelope control panel label text, I'd like it to be brighter

I think they're located in reaper.exe or reaper_explorer.dll

Perhaps it's LBX Stripper: http://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=182233&page=62 .
@Arthur McArthur, unfortunately, you're not allowed to do this.

Why not? Copyright infringement?

Ok. He'll do it. What next? He will need to attach MODIFIED file, so everyone will can use it. Yes, rather infringement. And of course it's a bit unsafe to modify program's files. It will be better to ask the Devs to make it themeable. But yeah, Arthur McArthur can write an instruction how to do it, if it's really important.

Yes it's lb0's incredible stripper. Strippers change lives!

Here are the knob files I used: https://uploadfiles.io/ee0ee

Timbralzoom has some videos on how to use stripper, it can take a bit of effort to figure out at the moment as it's still in development but it's the coolest thing in the world atm.

I don't think I'll be editing the .exe, voiding the warranty and all that.

Looks very nice Arthur! I will definitely use it.

I have updated my theme page and linked to your theme, because I think many will enjoy the Ableton exclusive version: https://stash.reaper.fm/theme/1920/Live.ReaperThemeZip

LBX stripper... never heard of that. It looks good. It seems to make the FX windows themable? that would be great.

.

Very able theme. Cheers.
One niggle, due to lack of contrast the light grey mouse cursor almost disappears against the background when not against MIDI or Wav track.

It would be nice if the level meters had a semi transparent glow or shading, rather than a flat block of colour.
Also it is nice when themes allow for different colour on the SPL display of active tracks.

Stumbled on this really nice looking flat Theme (i like Ableton's Live GUI) but
i noticed you can't change a media item's background color, it's always grey-ish. (except when selected)

Any Theming Wizard knows how to solve this ?

A new Protracker theme would be not bad also.
At least those blue numbers and the rainbow bar, and that yellow oscilloscope color.

I remember the ST-01, ST-02 and ST-03 sound bank disks.
Ask the developer of Renoise for such a skin :-)

Sorry to ask but where are the icons / buttons for folder tracks in this theme?

I can't seem to be able to collapse or hide / expand folder tracks in the main edit window?!

Any help appreciated

Thanks

True, some of the menus and windows are colored like that with the help of WindowBlinds theme McArthur mentions in OP.
