MCP coming along nicely.
Had to remake most of this from scratch in PS, AD resizing wasn't working as well here for some reason.
Note: the black line bug (fader area) is to be fixed still. One thing at a time!

Cheers.
Slight tweak to MCP, added a highlight along the top of the coloured bit (rather than a black line). Need to update HiDPI version with this also.

Thanks. Easier to see details like this at 1080p. On a HiDPI monitor, not so much :¬)

Looking really great.
One question - I'm confused why there are two separate versions?
If this theme is going to have the same resizing/scaling functionality as the default 6.0 theme (which is something I believe you said in this thread) then why do we need a HiDPI version and a 1080 version? Wouldn't there just be ONE new updated theme, that supports hi and low res monitor sizes in the same way that the 6.0 theme does?

The way ONE default 6 theme supports hi and low res monitor sizes is by having 3 differently sized image sets in it 4k Smooth will swallow 1080p one, there wont be 2 versions.

Exactly. Smooth is a single theme that supports 1080p and 2x HiDPI (Retina).

One more question, I don't suppose there is a way of the stopping that lovely coloured panel edge on the alternate TCP getting obscured when the meter size is above 10? I much prefer the 20 size, but unfortunately that obscures most of that coloured border edge. Any meter size larger than 20 obscures it completely.
If it's not possible to make it scale with the meter size, then would it be difficult for an image editing novice like me to mod so that it's suitably sized for a 20 size meter, not 10? I assume it's a PNG that needs modding, and that the image contains some kind of indicator (a specific colour maybe?) that tells WALTER 'colour this part to the assigned track colour'?

No, since the meters overlay the alternative design, it would have to be huge. For anyone using less than 20 pixels it would look huge.
It's designed for 10 pixels as I think it's the perfect TCP meter size, and the alt TCP was designed for my own tastes
You can mod it (tcp_bg.png) yourself by going into the 200/alt folder and shifting the cutout 10 pixels back to the left. you may need to increase the overall width of the graphic to accommodate it.

Hi Bose
Looking very good indeed - can't wait to have it playing nicely over two different resolution screens!
Did you manage to find a solution to the PLAYRATE control colour when not set at 1.0 by any chance?
Cheers
Andy

The script needs to be in the a scripts\default folder with the default theme adjuster.

I can't figure out how to change the text if non zero - need help with that if possible. Otherwise it'll stay as is.

Could something ELSE (the whole transport bar?) change colour if the playrate is not 1.0? It'd be really useful to have a very obvious visual reminder that it's altered.

I posted the WALTER code for what I assume controls it, and spent an hour or so trying to hack it to work. No go. You're welcome to have a go at it, or ask someone for help.

I think, being a dark theme, I may make the default MIDI/window colours dark.
Anyone specifically attached to the current light windows?

Understood. WALTER is something I have no knowledge of, and probably not the time to learn right now. I may see if I can tweak it myself once 2.0 is out, but if not, no bother. Thanks for all your work.

I would appreciate a darker MIDI editor. It is used in full screen here, so a bright editor would be jarring.

Go dark all around. MIDI Editor, Track Manager, Window Lists, etc. I actually did a dark ColorTheme for Smooth (attached) if you want to check it out. Tried to use the same colors in Smooth.
The only thing in this attachment are the Theme Tweaker color theme settings, no images or anything else. Just open the Theme Tweaker in the actions and load this file if you want to check it out.
