I see there has been some functionality added to SWS which enables automatic fx chain saving!
I like it!
But I want to see if I can do the following things and how:
- I want every project to have auto-save enabled on startup (global action - I know I can add this but does it work with this feature?)
- I want it to save the fxchains/templates under the project directory under "fxchains"
- automatically save ALL track fxchains, selected or not
- I want the most recent one only, or maybe the last 3
- I want it to update after changes to the fxchain, or maybe a certain number of changes. Definable time spans for saving would also be good
- I want tracks without fx to be excluded
Can I do this? So far, I have enabled autosave on project start up but get the following error when I open reaper:
and then if I try to set up a project directory, for a default project, it makes it my recording cache, and does not update when I make the project saved to a new spot.
I think what might work is if we have the following:
- make it a project startup action which does the following
- enables project dir/fxchains as the save path (auto updates on autosave)
- enables auto save
- autosave options
- save every 20 mins
OR
- save every 100 parameter changes
- keep last 3 autosaves only
