some have said it's converters are close to lynx, maybe better then rme, and equal to kurzweil KSP8.

In my experience I think they are better then MOTU for sure and the preamps are very transparent - worth the $1000 bucks the intire unit was initially being selled for! Now you can get it for like 3-400. I never had any problems setting up the interface, but that's supposadly it's downfall.
