So being able to search and get the answer to a solution (because the pages of this forum are indexed in search engines) is a great help as is @hopi letting me know where to read up on the general subject (at the time I was in need I didn't remember there was a general subject of such, perhaps I should read the manual 3-5x!). As for the convenience of dumping it into a wav file and editing the wav file, yuck! I want to have all my finished work in one location so I if I need to go back, remaster stuff and/or change things I will have it all there, otherwise I would definitely forget finishing touches and so forth. Best regards all and thanks!
sure whatever works for you... and did you know that the pdf manual is a searchable pdf? the ONLY issue I have had with that is knowing what word is used by reaper that you want to search for. At the same time, often a little reading here and there will show you the word you want... then you can do a proper search and rapidly get to the section in the manual you want.

of course the forum is also the best place on any of our local planets to get some help...
