5.962 added support for bridging...

@justin: is this Windows VST bridging? I've always maintained that if users need to run Windows plugins, the best solution is to use Windows. (WINE - which I assume would be the basis for any Windows bridge - is an amazing project, but, has a history of being fragile with VSTs - and depending upon it so you can run old VSTs on Linux is likely to be fraught with problems - what *appears* to work can also just decide to suddenly fail without warning, and there's not much you can do).
Disclaimer: I've also spent about the last ten years or more involved in supporting (and encouraging others to) support Linux audio *natively* which is a far better option (and why its so great that Reaper also runs natively on Linux).
(I can completely imagine a scenario where someone will run Windows plug-ins in Reaper for Linux, on a Linux VM running on top of Windows...
please don't let this happen...)
