I don't use Arch, sorry. I've used MX Linux (Debian-based), Mint XFCE (Ubuntu-based) and am switching to Xubuntu once I get my new Ryzen 3700X system put together soon. I want to stick to really common, up-to-date distros which require less use of command-line stuff to configure.
I also don't use WINE or any bridging. Native Linux only for me.
Yeah when I switched to Linux I'd done some apples-to-apples comparisons using only Reaper plugins and I got about another 30% CPU in Linux while also having it be more stable at high CPU use (and lower latency than possible in Windows). I didn't realize that would be the case but I was happy.
