They didnt have any spare used IR boards, but I have now registered with their supplier & a couple of others, plus have every 2010 - 2011 Mac Mini on ebay at a low starting price on my watch list....
Apparently all I am going to lose if I just dont connect the broken card up is the on/off led on the front of the case, so no big deal.
