i said not to go with one that would take a percentage. go with one that you pay a flat fee for, preferably one time.

with a percentage, you end up paying a LOT more unless you're making substantially less than a couple grand a year from the music.

if I understand correctly, these companies make it hard for you to switch distributors without potentially losing all of your iTunes ratings, reviews, etc. hopefully that's no longer the case but it means you had to choose carefully early.
