Not bad. I'll suggest a few more things. Not to be a kill-joy, but .. because this looks so good that I get the feeling of 'it needs so little, to be so much better'

Pan Law Settings
Mono button
Pan control

With the pan law set to -3 in your daw - the best internal compromise between stereo<>mono - you won't see on the meter the same proportions that you hear, because the meter will be located on a prefader insert slot. Pan law settings for visual correction only though, not audial.
Being on an insert slot is also the reason you'll need a mono button on it which will compensate the meter reading according to pan law when summing to mono. Reaper's own mono button won't do that for the meter, because the meter is ahead of it in the chain. With a -3 pan law, the sides will be lower in volume than the center.
Pan control will be a good addition. If you pan the master output (for temporary checks, tests and stuff) it won't be reflected on the meter, since the meter is an a pre pan-control insert.

I also support the addition of having the L/R windows horizontal.
Nice work
