Update:

I had more time to play round and using other methods to trigger samples through SampleOmatic5000 I discovered that the culprit is JS: Audio To MIDI Drum Trigger (Stillwell). ReaGate does not behave the same and all of the samples are triggered as expected.

Please change the title to reflect the real issue or delete the thread.
