So, I've been following this amazing topic.
I've found my prosumer i/o calibration to be -18dBFS. When you are talking about pegging around -20dbFS RMS, is that on the master track or on all tracks? If I have a bunch of tracks summing, the master will be hotter. Does this mean I'll have to pull down the master until it too is at the "sweet" level? I highly suspect some of my signal chain is causing this sort of issue.
