If you re-write "Twinkle twinkle..." to 4/4 and it will sound something like this:

TWIN!!!-kle TWIN-kle LIT!!!-tle STAR....

and it should be:

TWI!!!-kle TWIN!!!-kle LIT!!!-tle STAR!!!
