I have a desktop crate mixer. I am going out of my headphone jack from my computer into the RCA tape in on my mixer. I am using a 1/4 inch jack on the line in. I am not able to get reaper to recognize my line in (keyboard). Instead, my built in microphone is what is picking up any sound. I have ASIO, and MicLn 1 and Micln 2 are the options available, however my mixer is still not recognized and the integrated microphone on my laptop keeps picking up any sound. How do I fix this.
Thank you!

Wait...I feel like I'm missing something. you have your mixer....plugged into the line in of your computer....and you notice that the microphone is picking it up....
Man...ASIO means nothing here. Sure you can use ASIO, but your wanting to change your driver. Go to Options>preferences>Audio>Devices>and choose your primary sound card. Or ASIO and select your primary card in your ASIO's menu.
