Same here.Funny how things were much clearer then.You were sort of either a Les Paul/SG player or a Strat/Tele player.

My first band proper electric guitar when I was 16 was an Antoria Les paul that I fitted Ibanez super 70 and 80 humbuckers to and would you believe I still have those pickups on another guitar now

I dug out the guitar(An old Seiwa Strat copy) to use on the track,"String Theory" a short while ago as I wanted a fatter humbucker sound on the recording.It's on my Reverbnation page in my sig.
