Obviously it did happen.
But it was because I made a mistake during the installation.
For Windows there is an easy way to do an portable installation. For mac this is not clear.
You have to do more than just create a separate folder.
At this point I realize that installation instructions are urgently needed. Or a couple of tutorials/ videos.
