I haven't seen this anywhere. Except Notepad++ - rather clumsy there. So it probably is a very old idea.
Create edit copies from the same project... or any project.
Any number you'd like.
Drag them anywhere - any monitor you could have. The user then have many windows opened of the same project. Just that each window has a different focus to the same project. Different layout even.
The user changes something at one window and it would instantly update all the other copies.
