Default Thank you!

Hello.

I use Mint 19.3
I actually sort of succeded in having the interface recognized.
However, when I play back music through it, I hear weird echo kind of sound as well as glitches.

Also, the hdsp mixer is very old and is of the year 2003.
I am wondering if there is a way to use Totalmix.

If you are familiar with getting the latest mixer version available for Linux, it would be greatly appreciated if you could show me how I can go about getting it.

Thank you and have a great day!

what is your linux distro?

what you always need to have installed is the alsa-firmware-loaders and the alsa-utils

these have the drivers and a gui for the hdspmixer etc...

there are some cases it still does not work and you need to compile the alsa firmware from source. this sounds horrible but is totally doable in this case
