As another side note, maybe you already knew this.., but you can also control multiple parameters using one message when using the 'control surface' approach. Depending on the capabilities of the sending device you can send something like this "/track/1,2/fx/1,1/fxparam/3/value", 0.3,0.3
In that example the fx in slot 1 of both track 1 and 2 will have parameter 3 set to 0.3.
