Got a Raspberry Pi 3 B+ as a gift and finally tried it out. I just loaded REAPER for Linux armv7l and initially no selection for audio worked. Then I thought WTF and installed jack. The next time I launched REAPER I selected jack audio and it worked.
So the next test I decided to try was to import a song into the Pi and see what it would do. To my surprise, it was able to play eight tracks of audio with multiple FX on every track without issue.
This is a screen capture of REAPER playing a test song on a Raspberry Pi.
Hooked up this tiny touchscreen gift and had REAPER playing the project in my hand.
