Thanks I agree that our previous demo had a better mix. It's a lot clearer, and there's more separation between the different instruments. I've recently found myself trying to recreate that mix. It's kinda funny because that's the first mix I did about 8 years ago.
I didn't use any side-chain compression on this mix, but the compression is pretty aggressive on the master. I can definitely hear the flutter you're referring to. I think I need to go back to how I use to mix with less compression on the master. Thanks for checking it out!
