Hello
I went on the Wiki to add/delete some stuff (for example the CPU performance request, as it has been added in v0,954), and i saw a comment about a FR i had written a few days ago.
Quote:
# MEDIA EXPLORER : once a file selected, making the 'autoplay' stop playing could be useful.
* Eh? There is a stop button in the Media Explorer window, also there is a checkbox to disable the autoplay.

This is not what I was asking for. I mean, i don't ask for autoplay, but for autostop :
When the first seconds of a file got listened, and that you've checked that it is the good file, and you want to import it in your project, it would be nice if REaper could auto-stop the file playing once you've dragged/dropped it inside your project, without even having to hit "stop" (an "intelligent stop" feature, in two words...)
As i'm asking for media preview, let's go for another one :
For long takes (some of them beginning with silence), it would be pretty good to have a cursor to move forward (navigate) in the file to preview(in order to play just the end, for example).
Not useful for short loops or one shot samples, but good for longer takes where only one part in the end would differ from the others...
(Else it is quicker to import all the files and then delete the unwanted, but it is a bit absurd to load a file just to check if you have to get rid of it !
)
