It's interesting how things develop, I started this tutorial with the intention of sharing the little bit of knowledge I have on building your own powerful drum sampler. Since then I downloaded the drum Custom Works drum library Smurf posted and it is a great set of drum samples, actually two kits in as many as twelve velocities, maybe more than you might care to use, then again why not?

I'm just making this post now because I highly recommend you download the bundle if you can, then we would all be singing from the same song book. it's about 181 Mb

If you can't download it by the time this tutorial concludes I think I will try to make a cut down version as a ready made Shortcircuit kit available, it will be with "only" about six layers though - enough for a very nice kit of drums
