I'm working on my first music video in Reaper.

What I am doing is to load video from each camera into a separate track, with priority assigned to the lowest numbered track.

When I want to switch to (for example) camera 3 on track 3, I just split the items on the tracks above (tracks 1 & 2), creating a gap with slip editing, so the desired track is allowed to 'show through'.

So far it is working pretty well.

I also considered loading each camera into separate take lanes on the same track, then using the take system to make a comp. Haven't tried it yet, but it might be quite a bit easier, if it would work for video. Has anyone tried this?
