probably way off base but something that covers allot of ground to me is KORE 2/NI. You don't need the controller, you can get the software version. The reason I mention it is that is does so much and comes with allot of great sounds. Kore packs can be pretty cool too to add on.

I'm guessing CPU is not that big an issue? (I've heard alchemy can be quite taxing)
