Hey Thanks guys for the critique and good tips !!! Much appreciated...

I actually use a Tube Screamer in front of my rig as you both suggested. However I recorded this with a Korg Pandoras box. The Pandora isn't necessarily to blame though. That of course falls to me. I knew the guitar sounded like shit but thought I could "fix it" in the mix. NOT !!! I'm currently re tracking with my rig.

I gotta stop being such a hack

I think it's finally sunk in that good sounding recordings are obtained by recording good sounds. Dialing in tones, listening, checking or understanding how/if things work in the mix, preparation period is as important a playing.
