Just tried notation view out for the first time, it went like this.
on OSX 10.10.5 which is not my typical machine but I wanted to try the new notation view
1. Created a brand new project.
2. Inserted a new track
3. Drew a small midi item
4. Edited that midi item
5. Switched view to notation view
6. Right click, Insert lyric
7. CRASH
