Here's the one I use now (I found that same problem recently while freezing Nebula3 takes, I just hadn't posted it yet )

item: select all items in selected tracks
take: delete current take from items
track: toggle fx bypass for selected tracks
track: set all fx online for selected tracks
take: switch items to next take

Sometimes I offline fx when freezing, sometimes I don't, this one unfreezes either way...it selects the original take 1 this way also.

* Also, the freeze isn't accurate if you move the volume line on an item, so it's best to use the fader in item properties...otherwise you double dose. It'd be awesome if there was an option to ignore this volume line when applying fx as new take. (I think it's pre-fx volume iirc).
