Sadly, it doesn't. Here's the the two rendered files and the original in Amadeus:
One thing I wonder about
: you'll notice that the bottom file, the source file used to create the rendering is silent except for an initial, brief bit of sine wave. Most of the rendering is created by a VST plugin, producing, in effect, a long reverb tail.
(The successful 88.2 rendering is at top, and the unsuccessful 44.1 resampled rendering is in the middle.)
So I wonder if all the silence accounts for the weird resampling? If so, I should be able to successfully render active audio data, and be able to re-produce my issue with just about any reverb VST set to echo for a while...
