it has some really good presets. But I must warn you it can cause problems in Reaper. Ive discovered this first hand & I just read a few other posts with various problems running Proteus.

I have a "full" E-MU's Proteus X2, Proteus X LE and Proteus VX. They seem to be very much the same at the core, and at least under Vista 64, there is no end of trouble with both Reaper 32 and 64.

It looks like this stuff has not been updated for ages. Which is sad, because a little maintenance on the part of E-MU could give new life to a great sound library. But then, they probably wouldn't give it away for free anymore...
