Hi Reaper People!

Just installed a Nektar Impact LX49 midi controller and connected it with Reaper 6.03 in my Windows 10 system.

I was able to create a couple of tracks with piano melody, piano chords, and synth.

Then I opened a new track and put Steven Slate SSD drums on it as the virtual instrument. When I strike the keys on the Impact LX49 controller, I can see the SSD drum elements engaging just like they were being hit. But what I hear is the sound of piano in the foreground and drums lightly in the background. I don't know how to get the drums without the piano coming in.

Thanks for any ideas.
